Special Trips, Tours, and Unique Experiences

For those who are always ready for anything, there are activities for you to learn a skill, educate yourself, or just explore … expanding your horizons! For all of these experiences, watch for the Save the Date feature box as the dates and locations are not regularly scheduled activities. Then HURRY UP and sign up under Event Registration as some of these are SOLD OUT in the blink of an eye! Dates, times and meeting places for these activities all depend on the event.

Community Arts

Tours of local museums and area attractions, ticket opportunities to plays, musicals, and other fine art events in our area are offered to members (and sometimes guests) at various times throughout the year.

Cooking Experiences

Popular among gourmets are cooking classes offered when a special chef is available! We also hold "Supper Clubs" where members bring a special theme-based homemade (or store bought) appetizers or desserts to share while chatting and sharing recipes.

Floral Design

Classes in how to create beautiful centerpieces are very popular.

Food & Wine

We schedule and offer one-time opportunities to try local restaurants, test wines, or tour distilleries.

Health & Safety

Encore takes advantage of Lee Health and their many classes on health. The club has attended Lee County Sheriff's Department classes and lectures on personal safety.

Themed Parties

From Cinco de Mayo to Margaritaville, Octoberfest, and any holiday you can imagine are themes we explore at different times of the year and different years.

Trips & Tours

Occasional day-trip excursions offered throughout South Florida are often booked. Members are given the opportunity to explore interesting places beyond the immediate Estero area.
